Kovacika Scholarships – Grants are awarded directly to schools to promote and improve geographic literacy in the classrooms and schools. Grant applications are accepted from any current teacher or administrator of an accredited K-12 school in South Carolina.

Scholarship Open for International Students – These scholarships are intended to support the teaching of geography and traditional financing options are available. The proposed work directly focuses on improving education through the new curriculum materials, or the acquisition of educational materials and essential equipment. • Kappa Omicron Nu National Honor Society Scholarship Award Offered to students who are active members of Kappa Omicron Nu. The student must major or minor in Family and Consumer Sciences a region, ranking in the top 25% of undergraduate classes and maintain a minimum average of 3.00. The student must also have excellent personal qualities and leadership potential. Doctoral student in Family and Consumer Sciences must rank in the top 25% of their class and have a minimum GPA of 3.50.

Mary Baxter Paul Scholarship This scholarship is awarded to students of the Family and Consumer Sciences with a GPA 3.5 or better. In addition, students have the possibility of success, an excellent character, and an economic need.

M. Maceo Nance, Jr., School of Nursing Scholarship - The Maceo Nance, Jr., nurses Exchange (s) are awarded annually to students who are already enrolled in the nursing program at South Carolina State University. Scholarships are awarded each spring, with the money available for the fall semester. The number and size of scholarships is determined by the Department of Nursing. Both RN and generic students are eligible for awards. Students must meet specific criteria and submit an application to the Department of Nursing each year for the treatment of the price.
