The Big Y Scholarship : These scholarships are primarily available to residents of the area around the Big Y market which is west and central Massachusetts, Norfolk County and Connecticut State. High school seniors, undergraduates and graduates are eligible to apply. Applications forms are available between October and January at all Big Y locations. Even doctoral-level students are eligible.
NEGA Scholarship: This renewable grant is available for those specializing in Graphic Design and one stands to get between $1,300 to $2,000, if selected. Only New England residents are eligible to apply and one must have graduated high school or has already gained admission to an accredited university or college. A minimum grade point average of 2.5 is mandatory.

- Atkinson Scholarship : A $5,000 grant given to students graduating from Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School (LHRHS). The student must show an inclination to take up a two-year or four-year course on a listed college or university. Those applying to vocational training institutes are also eligible to apply. One must be a Sudbury resident or a dependent of an employee of LHRHS or Sudbury town. Overall academic performance and need for funds are judged for selection.
- Nicholas Van Slyck Scholarship: If you decide to take up a career in music, then you could apply for this scholarship. This is given to Merrimack Valley residents who are majoring in music. One needs to demonstrate financial need and could get a grant of $500 to $1,000.
- The A.L. Brown Scholarship: For students of engineering related to fire protection techniques, the A.L. Brown scholarship is available in Massachusetts State. Applicants must work towards a BS degree in science or engineering and must study full-time at a college or university where an ABET-recognized curricula is taught. Residency of New England and graduation from a high school there are mandatory. Amounts ranging from $1,000 — $7,000 are available as scholarships.
- The Phillips Scholarship: This grant is for full time undergraduates and New England permanent residents. Consistent academic performance, valid US citizenship and demonstrated financial need are the main selection criterion. A 3.0 grade point average is required as also competent writing skills. Community development activities and the ability to earn extra money by way of part-time work are also considered. The money given out varies between $3,000 and $10,000.
