Robert C. Byrd Honors Scholarship
This scholarship is for the meritorious students who have done exceedingly well in the academics section. Awarded $1500 to the candidate, the Robert C. Byrd Honors Scholarship requires the student to have a GPA of at least 3.5 and a 1060 as a minimum for the SAT score. Another requisite is that the student needs to get a GED coordinator to attest his performance.
Kentucky Teacher Scholarship
The Kentucky Teacher Scholarship is offered to those students who wish to major in Education. The award varies from $300 to $5000. The students are required to teach in the shortage areas on the completion of the course, otherwise, the scholarship money needs to be repaid back. The applicant must be a full-time student. High school students cannot avail this scholarship.

- Kentucky National Guard Tuition Award Program – This scholarship is exclusively for members of the Air National Guard and the Army National Guard. The applicants are required to be of good standing. The amount can be varied according to the various norms of each university or college exclusively.
- Kentucky Tuition Grant (KTG) – The Kentucky Tuition Grant is for students who have enrolled into colleges which are independent of the state of Kentucky. The amount for the scholarship award may vary from $200 to $2400. The criterion for the award is decided according to the financial need of the student applying. Also, the student must enroll for a full-time course in the college of his choice.

Kentucky Educational Excellence Scholarship (KEES)
The Kentucky Educational Excellence Scholarship is given to the student who has the highest GPA in order of the merit. The applicant must be a graduate from a Kentucky high school. The scholarship is renewable only if the applicant maintains a high GPA during the period of the course. An award ranging from $125 to $2500 is provided to the student. High school students are also considered for the scholarship.
College Access Program (CAP) Grant
This is a unique grant wherein students who have no degrees can apply. The grant provides $58 per semester per hour. Students pursuing degrees in religion are not eligible for this grant. The applicant must provide the financial need to get the benefit of the grant.
