Regents Scholarship: The scholarship, established by The Board of Regents, is awarded to twenty freshmen with outstanding academic achievement. Each scholar will receive full tuition and a stipend of $2,000 per semester and a one-time travel grant up to $2,000. The scholarship is renewable for eight consecutive semesters subject to maintaining eligibility. As a Regent Scholar you can enroll at any of the campuses of University of Hawaii. Applicant must be a resident of Hawaii and has to fulfill all the criteria. The student must also have a record of superior academic and extracurricular achievements along with evidence of community service activities.
Presidential Scholarships: Ten scholarships are awarded each year to college juniors. The award amounts are similar to Regents Scholarship while renewals are for four consecutive semesters. Residents of Hawaii may apply and has to be a full-time undergraduate who will be a junior in fall semester with a 3.7 GPA for all college work. Academic and community achievements are at par with Regents Scholarship. Presidential scholars can attend any baccalaureate campuses of University of Hawaii.

- Centennial Scholars Program: Celebrating the University of Hawaii System’s centennial this scholarship awards $1,000 per year to qualified Hawaii residents studying on the university’s all ten campuses. The student must be admitted and attend as freshmen in the fall semester after graduation. Grant can be received for eight consecutive semesters at a baccalaureate campus or for four semesters at a community college campus if 3.0 cumulative GPA is maintained.
- Hawaii Chapter David T Woolsey Scholarship: If you reside permanently in Hawaii and are an undergraduate (third to fifth year) or graduate student of landscape architecture at Landscape Architecture Accreditation Board accredited programs, only then you can avail of this scholarship. The award is meant for educational and professional development. Applicants must also submit an autobiography with a statement of personal and professional goals and three work samples in the prescribed format.

Hawaii Community Foundation Scholarships: This program comprises of eighty-five different funds, all established privately by individuals, businesses and organizations. While each scholarship has eligibility as specified by the donor, certain common criteria require the applicant to be a Hawaiian resident with a financial need. The full-time student must have a plan to attend two or four-year college or university as an undergraduate of graduate.
