Arkansas High-Tech Scholarship Program: Students who wish to pursue a post secondary technical program can apply for this scholarship. To be eligible, applicant must be an Arkansas resident who has graduated from a state high school. Plus 2.5 GPA (scale of 4.0) and 19 on ACT, or 730 on SAT, or be within the top 10% of their high school class, is required. The student must however enroll for an approved technical program on full-time basis. $500 is awarded per year, and can be renewed if the student maintains 3.0 GPA.
Arkansas Nurses Foundation Research Grant: This grant is only for nurses with a license, who seek to educate themselves further by doing research. The applicants must have an Arkansas Nursing License with the Arkansas State Board of Nursing (Licensed Practical Nurse, Resident Nurse, and Advanced Practice Nurse). Applicants, who have successfully completed a Baccalaureate or Masters in nursing a program accredited by either Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC), are also eligible to apply.

R Preston Woodruff, Jr. Scholarship: The student who wishes to avail this scholarship has to enter a competition, and is required to submit a 500-word essay on the topic that has been prescribed. The competition is open to Arkansas residents who wish to take up post secondary programs within or outside the state. Also students from outside the state, who wish to attend such postsecondary institutions in Arkansas, can apply. Winners will receive a one-time scholarship of $1,000. However one student who has submitted the best essay will be eligible for renewal of the scholarship.
Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship Fund (ASPSF): The ASPSF provides assistance to single parents who wish to take up any educational program in order to better their earning potential. The applicant must be a resident of Arkansas with a high school diploma. Plus the single parent must be having the custody of one or more children aged below eighteen. Most importantly the applicant must exhibit financial need. Those who wish to apply must get in touch with the ASPSF officials in their respective counties, for the requirements may be different in each county, also in some cases only certain institutions or programs may be covered under this fund.
